Termine, Russell William, 77, of Newark, NJ died at his home on June 12, 2017. He was born in Ridgewood, NY on May 18, 1940 and served in the Marines from 1958 to 1962. Upon returning from Vietnam, he became an aircraft mechanic with Pan American World Airways. He also drove for UPS and supervised warehouses for Aircast.
Equal parts artist and schemer, Russ had a talent for knocking down walls and rebuilding them and could “MacGyver” a solution to any home maintenance problem. He would strike up a conversation with anyone, and as a keen impersonator and serial joker, endeavored to make at least one person laugh each day.
Russ is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Termine and Sophie G. (John) Adel (nee’ Balzer). He is survived by daughters Marisa (Gregg) Boonstra and Valerie (Bill) Foxburrow, whom he shared with former wife Linda Schulkin (nee’ Napolitano), and the late, Gina Termine He also leaves behind a brother, Kenneth Termine, and sister-in-law, Carmen; a niece, Elaine Dziejma (nee’ Termine); and six grandchildren.
Funeral Service Wednesday 11 AM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.
