Condolence From: Joan Drew Lyons
Condolence: I learned of Sandy's passing long after the fact. I am choosing to post a condolence on the one year anniversary of her passing. Sandy and I met when we became neighbors on Evergreen Avenue in North Haledon when I was ten years old. There was a three year difference in our ages, but somehow that did not seem to matter.I believe that was because Sandy was so easy to be with and was mature for her age. We celebrated birthdays and Christmases together. I felt very fortunate to be her friend and to know her family.Sandy went on to college and taught Algebra at MRHS, where we both graduated from. We were in each other's weddings. I am sure this past year has been difficult for those who loved her. She is missed and will always be in my heart.

Condolence: We knew Sandy as our neighbor and friend from Vermont. She was a sweet and generous person, who loved her family and always had a kind word for everyone. Darlene and I wish Mike the very best. He is a devoted and loving husband.
