Obituary for Benedetta "Betty" Fauci (Giamanco)
FAUCI, Benedetta (Betty, nee Giamanco), 93 of Woodcliff Lake on February 4, 2017. Born in New York, Betty had lived in Florida and Franklin Lakes for many years before moving to Woodcliff Lake 2 years ago.
While Betty was a strong and independent woman, she loved her family and was kind, loving and generous to all. She was a retired seamstress and was a former parishioner of St. David’s RC Church in Davie, Florida.
Beloved Wife of the late Mario Fauci (1997). Devoted mother of Carmel Fauci of Connecticut, Lucianne Cirillo and her husband Vincent of Oakland, Lisa Fauci and her husband Victor Moll of New Orleans and Frank Fauci of Secaucus. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Sister of Grace Testa and Anna Rizzo of Florida.
The family will receive family and friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Entombment will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Betty’s memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
