Obituary for David N. Beckwermert

BECKWERMERT, David N. - 89, of Pompton Plains passed away on April 22, 2017. Born in Paterson and formerly of North Haledon, he has lived in Pompton Plains for the past 3 years. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he was a manager with Public Service in Newark. He served honorably with the United States Army during the Korean War. David was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Allendale where he served in many of their church groups. He was a former member of the Church of the Good Shepard in Midland Park.

Beloved husband of Jean Beckwermert (nee Kearney). Devoted father of Peter Beckwermert of Wayne Loving grandfather of Peter David Beckwermert and Emily Anne Beckwermert. David was predeceased by his brother John.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday from 6-9 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 55 George St, Allendale, NJ. Funeral Services at Trinity Episcopal Church Friday at 10:00 AM Interment Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in David’s memory to the New Jersey Audubon Society, 790 Ewing Ave., Franklin Lakes, NJ
