ACKER, Gloria (nee Clarkson) – 60, of Prospect Park passed away on May 26, 2017. She lived in North Haledon before moving to Prospect Park 40 years ago. She was a driver for the Foundation for the Handicapped in Wayne and took part in the Special Olympics where she received many awards. Gloria enjoyed traveling and cruising but most of all she loved and lived her life for her sister Nora and her niece and nephew.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Acker (1999). Loving sister of Nora Lake of Hamburg. Devoted aunt of Robert Lake and his wife Erika of Georgia and Jackie Mahoney and her husband Ryan of Vernon.
Cherished great-aunt of Robert, Lillian, Kaylee and Ryan.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Rod, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Services Friday 11AM at the funeral home. Interment Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
