Obituary for Verna Kling (Lukens)
KLING, Verna (nee Lukens) – 95, of Prospect Park passed away on August 9, 2017. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she lived in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania before moving to Prospect Park 9 years ago. Prior to her retirement she was a Secretary for the War Department for the United States Government. Verna was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park.
Beloved wife of the late Sheldon Kling (2008).
Devoted mother of Barbara Boydston and her husband Doug of Prospect Park, Michael Kling and his wife Rosemarie of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and the late Sandra Fenton and her surviving husband Eric.
Loving grandmother of Christine, Sheldon, Mathew, Blythe, James, Nora and Priscilla and many great-grandchidlren.
The Kling Family will receive family and friends on Monday from 5-8 PM with an 8 PM Service at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.
Private family interment at Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery.
