Obituary for Margaret Laauwe (Miller)

LAAUWE, Margaret (Nee Miller), 97 on January 6 of Wyckoff. Born in Midland Park Margaret lived and raised her family in Wyckoff. She was a charter member of Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church. Margaret moved to Hadley New York after her husband’s retirement and lived there for about 25 years. While in Hadley she attended the Hadley Baptist Church and played the organ and sang in the choir.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred N. Laauwe (2004). Devoted mother of Alfred Laauwe his wife the late Janice of Midland Park, and Robert Laauwe and his wife Susan of Hewitt. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dear Sister of the late Charlotte Douma and Adrianna Peters.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Interment at George Washington will be Private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Margarets’ memory to the Eastern Christian Children’s Retreat, 700 Mountain Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481
